Boogieman Live Talk 5/21 [May. 24th, 2008|12:28 pm]

[mood |tired]

Today Boogieman had their second Live Talk session which ended up being 5am where I am currently living.

I managed to record a small clip before my recorder expired giving me a whole 4m 59s of the guys talking and - most importantly - what I'm pretty sure is them playing in the background! Next time I'll try to get the whole thing now that I have a recorder that is not a trial version. But here you guys go! For those you interested in what they sound like... here ya go!

Oh, and Yuana is the small quiet voice off to the side you hear sparingly. Sadly the recorder cut off right before he started laughing like a dumbass.

cross-posted. yay.

I just received this from a friend and receiving it from me, the sweet sykogwyfinangel asked me to update you all with the news. ;~;

NEW YORK, NY (March 28, 2008) –
For reasons beyond their control, rock fest Clash Against Commercialism set for April 6, 2R008 at New York City’s Nokia Theatre Times Square has been cancelled. A delay in securing visas for members of the featured Japanese bands, combined with scheduling conflicts, has promoters unable to reconfirm a new date as of today.

Organizers would like to thank all those who helped build the event, as well as all the fans who purchased tickets.

Refunds will be available at point of purchase.

BOOGIEMAN OHP

I'm at work and this computer doesn't seem to want to show me Japanese characters but it almost looks like Boogieman will be performing in NY with ANTI FEMINISM, RENTRER en SOI and the studs? Can anyone with a cooperating computer confirm or correct this?

Thanks to the lovely keyjahn for providing this and really making my day!!!

Kagerou Interview Translation [Sep. 20th, 2006|08:19 am]
通信講座

raikoala
Sorry, the interview translation I posted here was deleted upon request by the magazine.

Corrected statement: The impression they made to me was that they cannot live with the idea that I make one interview of an entrie magazine available to people who don't speak German at the expense of the few Germans on here that may be able to read it because they ALSO happen to speak English (at least not until November, as they pointed out). Since I disabled comments, I want to state that they eventually changed their minds to wanting to be asked about putting up translations, rather than forbidding them before the publication of a new issue.

Eventually, the whole issue has been blown out of proportion, which is why I decided it is better to stop it. The post itself was left in general, in case anyone is looking for a translation that is no longer available on here.

I also apologize on behalf of many Germans on the net in general. We are very uptight by culture (I personally think this is a prime example of many, which is why this statement follows the post).

[Comments have been disabled to save peoples' faces and reputation and take out comments in German that others would not be able to understand, which I would not find fair.]
